Pizza Hut and KFC finally enter Nepal

Pizza Hut and KFC, world famous franchise restaurant have finally made their entrance to Himalayan Country. The world famous franchise chain restaurants Pizza Hut and KFC are ready to serve the lovers of fast food with finger licking good delicacies to taste buds of Kathmandu. These restaurants opened their door for food lovers in Durbarmarg with the ribbon cut and lighting of lamp by American Charge d΄Affaires Randy Berry on 22nd November after the much hype and food lover’s eyes waiting for its door to open for few months.
The multinational chain of restaurants have been established in Nepal by Devyani International under RJ Corp that owes the biggest bottler, Pepsi brands in India and Nepal and also the largest franchisee for YUM brands in India namely Pizza Hut and KFC.
KFC, the largest chicken restaurant brand in the world has been serving customers with the world famous original recipe fried chicken and other signature dishes and well guarded secret recipe by Colonel Sanders perfected since more than half a century ago. KFC has 13,000 outlets in 80 nations serving delicious, already prepared complete family meals at affordable prices.
Pizza Hut another outlet of American iconic institution opens in the first floor of Annapurna Arcade. Pizza Hut is the world’s largest ‘casual-dining restaurant’ chain. This outlet is new member of more than 12,500 outlets across 91 countries. The world famous All American Pan Pizza, their signature product is in the menu for Nepal. The outlet will also will be serving great soups, salads, pastas, desserts and beverages to go with pizza.
Ravi Kant Jaipuria said these outlets of fast-food will not only be serving the fast-food delicacies to Nepalese but it will also be boosting the economy by creating job opportunities for the locals. These outlets will surely be giving Nepali consumers the first local experience of an international food chain. The each restaurant has more than 140 restaurant capacities and each of them is initiated with the investment more than 50 million rupees. The owners are planning for more outlets inside the country in the coming days.
