Buddhist Walks in Ancient Kathmandu

Himalayan Buddhist Meditation Centre (HBMC) organized an event, ‘Buddhist Walks in Ancient Kathmandu’ a journey exploring the sacred Buddhist sites of Kathmandu. The event was organized in 29th November. The trip that began from HBMC reaches Chovar Gorge which carries the legend; Manjushree cut the gorge to let the water flow from the mythical lake to make Kathmandu inhabitable. Then the journey of Buddhist reached another Buddhist destination, Swayambhunath Stupa and finally concluded in HBMC at Thamel. The walk started with a healthy vegetarian breakfast and ended with afternoon tea at HBMC.

  1. Wow, this is really important input. Appreciation for posting it. I really believe, it is important to put in writing in relation to it since I think that not just I being a committed Buddhist will win a bit from it but perhaps others will too.
