On such a quest to fulfill the blanks of coffee culture by upgrading yet providing the home and laid back environment is non other than Cass’ Coffee and Tea.

Location wise very convenient opposite to UN office in pulchowk next to the lane of Nepal Investment Bank with décor reminding one of cozy living room with tranquilizing music not to be forgotten. The book shelves and eye catching abstract art with combination of expression gives warm feeling with antique color and surrounded wooden furniture .The Dee wan style furniture could not be better than this to feel oneself restful having my laptop in chest converted into table with over viewing the UN officials walking around and sipping there retro lunch with their tags on.

The brain child of Sarayat America returned has lot more to offer than cappuccino or espresso. The menu is definitely retro from expensive ingredients, Salads to Puree Soup to big man’s breakfast called “Buntey’s Breakfast”. No wonder finally UN officials have found the place to lay off their work on middle and rejuvenate after having fantastic coffee and food to suit their palate finding them comfortable to work back in full pace.

While typing this, myself being served Double Espresso without sugar as my hectic life came in Yellow Hand Made Cup providing my creative factor dimensional move. Whatever! my literature and poetic language don’t make sense for english guru though it makes me happy. To talk about the menu, it is simple café style inspiration of New York, Sydney, Paris and Toronto.

The single layered menu with beverage even featuring Breakfast, Salads, Quiche, Soup, Sandwiches, and Pasta to Dessert. Simple Menu with Choice revealed me more on the Crepes side as I haven’t have one after my Parisian day back in Hotel Schools. I aped for Lunch Crepes with 3 filling choice with mushroom, ham and cheese. It was defiantly not a crepe with sweet buckwheat though the taste was good enough to bind me on my memory lane of Crepes back in Paris. The combination just melt due to the paper thin of Crepes and Cheese making it munchies yet mushroom making it delightful. You know what? If I have to rate it then definitely, it will get 8 out of 10 for simple presentation and detail for taste. In the mean time Sarayat, the father of the place jumping from here and there taking things in his own hand makes it cozier and customer service oriented.
In the other hand Croissants with egg, cheese or spinach not being my cup of tea, I decided to skip. Just to remind you that it look yummy and could see next table was having it will full zest making one to die for it.
